I loved this color in the photo and even the dot in the can. But when I painted my dresser it was very blue. Not at all what it looked like from the swatch so I did not use for this project. Also, I felt like you had to work super fast or the paint would get clumpy. I figured out the method but took a little trial and error. Still, I would use again in a different color.

A good man is hard to find, gave me exactly what I was looking for, on this door panel, I am converting into a wall sconce, I am currently gold leafing the inside of the shade, as well as painting the shade black on the outside, then I will attach the sconce, and the French cleat for hanging, I am happy with all the products I've used, and cannot wait to start another project, I love your milk paint,and all the special effects products I have used so far. I used this AGMIHTF with luxe gray and Ballet white samples to marbleize a 32” tulip table top that was very porous and in need of help.

Just painted a second piece today. Putting it in my husband’s office to store his small humidors. Really like the color and it truly is amazing, the coverage. This was a very beat up piece and it is miraculous it looks so good. Just wondering if for his office I might want to use a dark wax to protect and make it a bit more masculine and aged?

On this antique desk, I painted it A Good Man is Hard to Find. After drying well, I put on two coats of black gel stain and wiped off a good amount each time. I love the combination and wish I could have posted two pictures. This picture is good, but I have a picture of the top and it’s beautiful!

I waited to write my review on the One Step Paint until I got the hang of it. I ended up spraying A Good Man Is Hard To Find in One Step Paint after watching the video indicating the proper dilution rate. I painted a Demi Lune piece, and I can honestly say this is the best paint I've ever used, and believe me when I say, I've used them all!! Thank you Amy for creating such a beautiful product that does exactly what it says it will do! Next I will use the wax on the same piece to finish it up. Also, thank you Amy and Gene for the informative videos and information. GREAT PRODUCT!!

This is such a pretty grayish black color and I really loved it. I mixed it with Bauhaus Buff to create a couple shades of gray to use as scumbles on my countertop painting project. I bought the turkey feather - but I chickened out on the veining! The video was excellent but I didn't trust myself to put it on my counter on my first project. In the end, it didn't need it - it was really pretty as is.

I bought this color that year, paint my kitchen cabinets and LOVED how they turned out. After a year I needed to do some minor touch up on a few minor chips. I bought and can at our local Ace Hardware store.... it did NOT match. I was thinking it was Ace Hardware fault so I purchased a can from your web site, and this can does not match either. I’m sad and very frustrated..... I need some help please.

A Good Man Is Hard To Find is a dark gray. It's rich and dense. I love it! The photo shows it as the background in this Prayer Board. The stencil is available from A Maker's Studio. You can purchase a kit to make the prayer board or just the stencil. I had a local carpenter make this frame for me. He copied the one I purchased from A Maker's Studio in the kit. If you make the Prayer Board, or for any project, I highly recommend this paint, and this color.

So easy to use! Soft, creamy finish. This one’s called AGood man is hard to find. Next time I would add a little water to the brush if it starts getting too thick and it won’t leave clumpy paint. Even still looks amazing and looking forward to more projects!!

The paint goes on easily. I lightly sprayed the surface of the dresser with water to get a smooth appearance, which worked well. I applied two coats, a day apart. However I found that when I use the handles my fingernails create a scratch on the surface of the new paint.
