In this step-by-step guide, our #ArtistInResidence Becky George will show you how to create a beautiful and functional piece that's perfect for serving drinks in style. Follow along and learn how to use Amy Howard at Home products to achieve this elegant look.
Start by cleaning and prepping your tray surface. Use a damp cloth to remove any dust or debris. Make sure the surface is dry before moving on to the next step.
Using the Ballet White - One Step Paint, apply a smooth and even coat to your tray. This paint is perfect for creating a durable and beautiful base layer. Allow the paint to dry completely before proceeding.
Next, create a design on your tray using Copycat. This product helps you achieve intricate patterns and details with ease. Follow the instructions on the product packaging for the best results.
Now it's time to mix the Acrylic Glacier Resin Bundle. Follow the instructions to achieve the correct consistency. Pour the resin over the tray, making sure to cover the entire surface evenly. Use a spatula to spread it out if necessary.
While the resin is still wet, sprinkle Eco Powder over the surface. This will create a beautiful, shimmering effect that catches the light and adds a touch of elegance to your tray.
Finally, use the Tray Handle Molds to create sturdy and stylish handles for your tray. Follow the instructions to attach them securely.
Allow the resin to cure completely. This might take several hours or overnight, depending on the product instructions. Once cured, your tray is ready to use!
Your DIY Resin Beverage Tray is now complete and ready to impress your guests. Whether you're serving cocktails or mocktails, this tray is sure to be a conversation starter.
