Cleans the grime off!
The paint is great! Goes on easily and covers well. Also has very little odor……the Clean Slate on the other hand….make sure your windows are open!
I love that I can also use clean slate on my wax brushes! I have a container of it where I soak the brush and the wax falls off. Wipe the rest with a towel and drip dry.
Love the color! I used “Life is short wall paint”.
We got this kitchen island from some friends who were moving back to the East Coast. The pale wood and modern hardware didn't go with our 18th-century style furniture. So, I sanded it down and used Clean Slate to paint it. I rarely have time for home projects, so instead of hand-painting the panels, I used a Photoshopped image and decoupaged the doors.
I loved using the clean slate.

I admit that I was a bit skeptical that one product could both clean and prep a surface so that paint would adhere. But not only were the wood and resin surfaces beautifully clean, the One Step paint laid down smoothly and covered well. Astonishingly easy process and very satisfying. Thank you!
Love the finished product. Definitely a learning curve for my very 1st project, but think it will be much easier for the next Luxe Lacquer project.
This worked well on overall cleaning and ridding kitchen cupboards of the usual sticky build-up. It does have strong odor, but dissipates quickly. Easy to use.
Have not used it yet! But I have high hopes!!
Bought a French hutch, dated late 1800s...revived the wood
I'm waiting on cooler weather to do it on the porch. I tried it on a portion though and it's awesome!

Packaging was amazing. This product was so easy to use...you dont need a lot ofnit to get the job done so it will last for multiple projects. I would definitely buy this again.

Truly amazing- not only preps wood for any project, but found that it work to exceptionally & quickly cleans other things like fine metal knobs on kitchen cabinets! I gave only 4 stars because of it's very strong smell. You really need A Lot f ventilation when using product; though, the smell has not stopped my continued use of it!

This stuff is magic!
The smell is incredibly strong, so it’s difficult for me to work with. It feels very similar to mineral spirits. That said, it is effective, just too smelly for me!
Still putting this armoire together but this was my first project and I love how clean slate prepped my armoire to have successfully covered step one paint 2 -3 coats and then the sacndanavian grey milk paint! Waiting on sizing and gold leaf to finish hardware… I will send the final picture in a week or so keep reaching out to me!!
I love the paint it is very nice goes on smoothly. Love the fast drying process. A little disappointed in the color it is more like a greyish white instead of the robin's egg color. But I think it will be pretty when done.
Perfection
The clean slate is a very good product, it really cleans the surface of the cabinets to be painted. I bought the Ballerina White paint for my bathroom cabinets and the color is perfect it is a pure clean white which is what I wanted. It went on the cabinet nice and has a lovely finish. I will definitely buy from you again.
