LuxeLacquer is an ultra high-gloss, oil-based enamel paint with over 96% gloss for a rich, reflective finish. It gets you the mirror-like look people associate with true nitrocellulose lacquer, without needing the solvent-based chemistry or professional spray booth true lacquer requires.

For the most flawless, glass-like finish, we recommend spraying LuxeLacquer, though brushing and rolling both work well too if you don't have access to a sprayer.

LuxeLacquer works beautifully on wood, concrete, glass/ceramic, metal, and plastic/resin. It's a great fit for cabinets, furniture, doors, appliances, and statement pieces, indoors or outdoors.

While not required on smooth, previously finished surfaces, we suggest using LuxeLacquer Primer for the smoothest, most flawless finish possible, especially on unfinished or grainy wood where it helps the topcoat bond and level out evenly. When you do use it, apply 1–2 thin coats, letting each coat dry overnight and lightly sanding with 400 grit sandpaper between coats.

Apply 1–3 thin coats of LuxeLacquer using a brush, foam roller, or sprayer. Thin coats create the smoothest, glass-like results. Let the first coat dry overnight, lightly sand with 400 grit sandpaper, wipe away any sanding residue, then apply your second coat.

Each coat needs to dry overnight before you sand or recoat. Once you're done painting, allow LuxeLacquer to fully cure for a minimum of 5–7 days before heavy use. Once cured, you're left with an ultra-glossy, designer finish.

Yes. You can add a small amount of mineral spirits to either LuxeLacquer Primer or LuxeLacquer itself to make application a bit easier, especially helpful when brushing rather than spraying.

You'll want LuxeLacquer, LuxeLacquer Primer (if needed), Clean Slate, a lint-free cloth, a brush, foam roller, or sprayer, 400 grit sandpaper, painter's tape, a clean cloth for sanding dust, wood filler for oil-based coatings, a drop cloth, mineral spirits, and a dust mask.
