HOW TO
Step One
Clean Vase With Clean Slate
Step Two
Apply Bauhaus Buff One Step Paint To Vase As A Primer
Cover the vessel completely. She used a synthetic brush for this step. Allow the paint to dry.
Step Three
Add Venetian Plaster To A Grey One Step Paint
Add four to five spoonfuls of One Step Paint to a bowl. Add a scoop cup of Venetian Plaster to the bowl and mix. You may need to add water to the mixture if mixture is too thick. The mixture should look like sheet rock.
Step Four
Dab Mixture On With Chip Brush
Cover the entire vessel with the dabbing motion. Let this dry.
Step Five
Sand Down Vase
Step Six
Use Java One Step Paint And Apply To Base Of Vase With A Dabbing Motion
Don't cover the entire vessel with this paint. Only the bottom of the vessel should be covered.
Step Seven
Use A Taupe One Step Paint Color And Apply To Top Of Base With A Dabbing Motion
Don't cover the entire vessel with this paint. Only the top of the vessel should be covered.
Step Eight
Dip Brush In Water And Continue Dabbing Motion To Help Blend Colors
