Clean the surface thoroughly using Clean Slate to remove dirt, oils, or residue. Allow to dry completely.

• Wearing gloves, place WoodCast into a glass or paper bowl and add a small amount of 100% acetone to soften it.
• Press the softened material firmly into your mould.
• Allow the cast pieces to dry overnight.

• Use wood glue or an appropriate adhesive to secure the WoodCast elements to your surface.
• Allow the adhesive to dry thoroughly before proceeding.

Mix one part Cracked Gesso with one part room-temperature water, stirring thoroughly. Allow the mixture to rest for a couple of hours for best results.

Apply two coats of Cracked Gesso over the entire surface and WoodCast details.

• Brush on the first coat and allow it to dry completely.
  
• Apply the second coat using a pouncing or stippling technique with a soft brush or sea wool sponge to build texture.
  

Let dry fully before continuing.

Apply One Step Paint in the color Charm School over the entire piece.

Allow to dry completely.

• Mix Les Gustavian Milk Paint using one part paint to one part water, stirring thoroughly.
• Brush over the surface, allowing subtle variation and visible brush texture to create an aged European look.
• Let dry completely.

Brush Antiquing Glaze into details, recesses, and crevices to create tonal variation and depth within the milk paint layers.

Apply Gilding Size to desired highlight areas such as raised details, edges, or focal points.

Allow the Size to reach proper tack.

Gently apply Gold Leaf and softly burnish once set.

Apply Light Wax over the entire piece to seal the finish and allow it to come to tack.

Use Dark Wax selectively in crevices and around details for added depth and dimension.

Once the wax has reached tack, apply Dust of Ages into corners, details, and recesses for an authentic time-worn effect.

Buff gently with a lint-free cloth to soften and blend the patina.
