Start with a clean, dry silicone mould to ensure crisp detail and easy release.

1. Pour a small amount of acetone into a glass or paper container.
2. Add small pieces of WoodCast to the acetone.
3. When the WoodCast becomes pliable, remove it and press it firmly into the mould.
4. Fill the mould completely, keeping the edges smooth and level.
5. Allow the casting to dry overnight. The decorative WoodCast appliqué will release easily once cured.

1. Mix one part Cracked Gesso with one part water.
2. Blend thoroughly and allow the mixture to rest for a couple of hours.
3. Brush the Cracked Gesso onto your wood panel and onto each decorative WoodCast piece for a textured, old-world base.

Mix the following with Glazed Over to create a golden-bronze finish:

• 1 tablespoon Soleil Mica
  
• 1 teaspoon Bright Bronze Mica
  

Paint this mica glaze onto your decorative castings and frame. Allow to dry completely.

1. Apply E6000 glue to the back of each WoodCast appliqué.
2. Press firmly onto the wood panel.
3. Allow the adhesive to fully set for a secure bond.

Using a sea wool sponge, apply a second coat of Cracked Gesso over the entire surface, including the applied moulds.

Use a heat gun to accelerate drying and encourage natural cracking.

Mix the following to create the paint color:

• 1 tablespoon Central Park Toscana Milk Paint
  
• 1 teaspoon Scandinavian Gray Pigment
  
• Add equal parts water
  

Brush the Milk Paint mixture over the dried, cracked gesso.

Allow it to dry fully and let the natural crackle pattern develop.

Apply a coat of Matte Sealer to protect the surface and allow it to dry completely.

Brush on a light layer of Light Wax, followed by Dark Wax to introduce depth and patina.

Let the wax dry, then buff to your desired sheen.
