About One Step Paint

One Step Paint is our premium, water-based chalk-style furniture paint that transforms furniture, fabric, and everything in between. No stripping, no sanding, no priming. It dries to a soft, chalky matte finish that's perfect for vintage, distressed, layered, and Old World looks. While decorative pieces don't require sealing, we recommend adding a wax or sealer on high-use items like dining tables, chairs, and cabinets to protect against everyday wear.

Seriously. This simple.

A beautiful transformation in 4 steps.

No sanding. No stripping. No priming.

I really liked the Antlier color on this old wood table im still working on it but here's a photo of how far I've gotten great coverage!😃

Store owner replied: thank you so much for sharing!

The actual paint is wonderful. It is the color. More a light gray than the greige I expected from the sample. I still used it on a tray & it turned out great.

Store owner replied: thank you for your feedback!

Yes this grey is lovely but a bit cooler than I expected but thank goodness I can go a few steps further to enhance this color by using mica power and bees wax to give my old table "which is what I applied the one step to" a warmer and more antiqued lookalike around one of the many ways to dress up a one step application 😀

I painted my vanity with Aetlier Miracle Paint. I didn’t strip or sand just put three coats on right over a varnish. Brushed on 2 coats the last coat I used a sponge roller. Highly recommended

I needed to match this window casing to my new flooring and my new kitchen cabinets will be gray. This combination of Ballet White & Atelier Gray with the glaze mixed in for top coat & buffed with Mind your own bees wax came out perfectly. I used a feather to get the mock wood grain.

I used Atelier Gray for the frame of this prayer board. The base is A Good Man Is Hard to Find. Nice combinarion. I used Mind Your Own Beeswax on the frame and seal the base with Matte Sealer.

This is my first project with the new formula. The finish is velvety and smooth with fewer brush marks. Love it!

Paint is awesome. Quick dry time means putting everything back together sooner and no curing time. I also love that the wood grain comes through and makes the doors look high end. The original finish was maple wood. I did put 3 coats on door fronts because It soaked into wood but no big deal as it dries so quickly.

I mixed atelier gray with brooks gray on an old designed lampshade. I ended up with a faux suede look from the rollers. It looks really cool. And, the lamp is placed on a desk I painted using a mix of atelier gray, black, and a clear wax. It’s amazing stuff!

Had white cabinets for 23 years and loved them but needed a change and went with the gray and love it. Still not done but the breakfast nook is posted!
