Very soft, pretty color. Mine seemed more pastel than the color looks on my computer monitor.
Searched for a one-step paint that would cover a 70s-style wood living room set. Used the cleaner first and it did well. Then applied the paint. I could have stopped with one coat and would have had an 'antiquey' finish, but decided to do two coats. The paint dried very smooth, not tacky at all, no brush strokes left, and just looked real nice. May or may not apply the wax, but I'm sure it will work great. Had to order another can of paint as there wasn't quite enough in the 2 starter kits to finish the product. All-in-all, a very good product!

I LOVE THIS PAINT! I’ve never had a good experience with this kind of paint before, so I hesitated when I was looking to buy another form of paint like this. It went on smooth, laid out evenly, and the color is so beautiful! It was so easy to use. I’ll be buying more of this paint for future projects. The, Mind Your Own Bees Wax, was amazing as well! If you’ve never used this product it is a must, and I think the beginners bundle is a fantastic way to start.
Everything went well, the kit comes with everything you need, haven’t used the wax yet giving a couple of days. So far looks great! I’ve already recommended to people I work with.
Sorry. Tried add photos but I am having issues. I very much liked the beginners bundle. The brush and rollers are great. Paint goes a long way. I did 2 round end tables and one small entry table. Only problem I had was sometimes the paint was runny. Most cases I caught it. I am very happy with changing appearance of my front room.
This was my first chalk paint challenge. What lovely products come in the bundle. LOVE the silky paint brush.

This Murphy Desk was brown before two coats of Metropolitan Grey! Zéro sanding!! I didn’t need ventilation and had ZERO sinus the next day and my desk smells DELICIOUS with the essential oils added to the paint!! I ordered the 1 hour miracle paint and going to do my kitchen cabinets next in Bauhaus Buff! I also painted the clock above the desk with Luxe Grey. It’s worthwhile to order the paint sample booklet to see the true colors of the paints because THEY are more accurate than just looking online!!

Very forgiving paint and pretty color (although nothing like the swatch shown online and they didn’t offer a sample size of Palace Gray at the time I purchased the bundle). While all products led to a beautiful result, the prep and wax both have a very strong smell to them. I’ve used a few different brands of chalk paint waxes and this is the only one I’ve used that had such a strong smell (the others had none). Definitely not low VOC, so use in a well ventilated area.
Easy to use!!!! I was a bit hesitant to refinish my mom’s vintage chest! But I followed the instructions and it was super easy and didn’t take days to finish my project! And the brushes included are wonderful!
The paint and wax were easy to use. I sanded the table to give it an antique look. It has a copper inside and the color made the knob and inside pop. The table has been in the family for three generations. I’m very happy with my first project.
This paint is an absolute delight and the dark stain accentuates the details. I am looking forward to painting more.

I have tried many different brands of “one step” paint and AMY HOWARD is my new favorite! The kit is all I needed and I have so much left over that I’m ready for my next project!!! I rescued this old tired piece of furniture at an estate sale and now it’s fresh and beautiful!
What a fantastic color. The one step paint is my favorite even more than the miracle paint. It’s so rich and smooth. The color was chocolate brown stain. My master bedroom is looking awesome! I’m planning to go paint on all my old furniture over the next year! Watch out furniture!

It dried faster than I expected
This is the first project I have done in many years. I enjoyed working with the paint. I learned a lot with this one. The paint is actually pretty forgiving. I had several drips where I applied it to heavily… they sanded off easily once dry. As you have stated on your site, “one step does not mean one coat”. I will be purchasing more of your products now that I have gotten my feet wet with the first one.
Have not started using the kit yet.

My vanity is 36 years old and I could not find a new one that fit properly. When I saw the Amy Howard at Home beginners kit I thought I would try to redo it myself. The kit had everything I needed to make my vanity look new again. It was easy to do and looks great now. If I get a new top it will be like a brand new vanity. Thanks.
