I absolutely love this English Walnut Gel Stain! This was my first furniture restoration project and I was honestly surprised by how easy it was to use. I restored an old round wood table that looked dry, faded, and worn, and this stain brought the wood grain back to life. The color is rich, warm, and elegant without covering the natural beauty of the wood. The application was beginner-friendly — I applied a thin coat, wiped off the excess, and the transformation was amazing. I had purchased this cabinet over 20 years ago and was tired of the orange looking finish. I decided to use Amy Howard’s English Walnut gel stain to enhance and add depth to this piece of furniture. I am very pleased with the new look. This is the second project I have done using this stain.

Great stain, I haven’t worked with too many stains and I’m not super handy but this was a great product. Really nice color and finish, very happy and will definitely purchase more for upcoming projects. I found the product through someone on Instagram and I’m really glad I did because I wouldn’t have known what to use. I personally think this one was definitely worth the price.
I fell in love with this product as soon as I opened the pot, the fragrance is spectacular and the consistency and how it works on the surface, I am almost finishing a project that I proposed on a wall in my house combining Gesso, milk paint, antique glaze and of course Gel Stein and I really like the result, thank you Amy for such excellent products!
What a gorgeous color! Unfortunately, I didn’t take a before picture this maple end table was water stained and peeling so it had to be sanded. The warmth of the color is so pretty.

When my wife asked if we can stain our oak cabinets I was very concerned about having to use smelly paint remover and the mess of sanding off the current finish. Really a problem as the cabinet doors have a lot of molding and coves. When I saw your YouTube program, I was really skeptical as to how easy you all made it look, but I went ahead and places the order. I decided to use it on the cabinet doors in the garage in the event the product did not deliver as promised. I was surprised how quickly my order as processed, but was disappointed how small the containers are. I thought this would never be enough to cover the 13 doors and 8 drawer fronts. At first, I applied too much of the product on the first door, and it took me awhile to brush down and removed the excess. The rest of the product went on beautifully as I realized how little it took to get the finish I wanted. It transformed those bland oak cabinets into a beautiful walnut. Now that I realize how easy it is I am going to now do the built-in entertainment center, as well as the cabinets in the master bath. Thank you for this wonderful product!
This is my go to stain color. Used as is or watered down as a wash. Plus, you just cannot beat the smell when using as a stain!

Stained the table with Amy Howard’s English Walnut Stain + Cerusin wax.
I love the way it changed the color of my old cabinets. The only issue I have is that the YouTube video said that you could put the matte finish on after 6 hours. I waited overnight and it started taking some of the gel stain off. So I had to touch up some of my cupboards.
Totally upgraded the look of my gold/orange oak kitchen cabinets! I love it so much, used the English walnut gel stain! I loved it so much I did all of the trim and doors in my whole house and it really updated the look!💗

This table was in awful condition. After cleaning the table with Clean Slate, I used the English Walnut Stain. It went on so smoothly and has a beautiful shine. I just love it. I am not completed with the table but this is the first step and could not be more happy!!

I refinished this wooden sofa tray. I decoupaged the front and the back I stained with AHAH English Walnut gel stain. It was so easy to apply and smells pleasant - not at all like other stains. They tray looks like a million dollars. It is one of my first projects. I am so happy with the results.
I used the English Walnut gel stain on a chopping board with Amy Howard's stencils, applied matt sealer then Mind your own Beeswax on top for a final finish. Beautiful result.

The gel stain is better than o ever thought possible! I stripped this desk of a weird unsealed red stain and found at least 2 different wood types. I was going to gild, paint and antique the entire piece, but found that the stain did such a beautiful job…I simply gilded it snd waxed it. There’s literally no smell and it’s extremely easy to work with. A must buy.
