Love Amy Howard paint! Been using it for years......every color is beautiful. One of my favorite colors is Ballet White---I painted my kitchen cabinets with this color years ago and my cabint still look fresh. A little soap and water cleans them up looking brand new.
I got sloppy and put too much and got a few white streaks. But that’s user error. I will purchase again

I painted our island with yellow one step paint. I love the color and did not want it to change with a protective finish. The Matte sealer did the trick. The color and matte finish of the paint did not change at all with the sealer. Perfect!

I love the wax for my kitchen cabinets, but did not like the shiny sheen it left. The Sealant was a game changer. It brought the cabinets back to the matte finish you get with milk paint. Originally, I incorrectly applied the sealant to my kitchen cabinets (using Strasburg white), which pealed if the seal broke and gave it a slight yellow look over time. 4 years later. I repainted the cabinets green with milk paint. This time, I did what the directions said it was perfect. Apply first coat of sealant, dry, light sand with 220 grit, then reapply sealant and let dry. Hang cabinets 24hours later. The sanding is imperative if you want the matte look. Do not fear the imperfections that pop up when you sand. The sealant will make it all look a part of the masterpiece. Love it!
Used the Matte sealer on a bookcase/side table project. Applied easily with a small roller and brush for tight spots. Easy to work with and appreciated the support videos for guidance on how to use.

Love this matte sealer. It is the best I’ve used.
Used on two raw wood pine tables. Very easy to apply. It was impossible to tell there was a finish on the tables which was my goal. Wanted the tables to look natural but have some protection. Great product.

I followed Amy’s directions and changed this table that had a shiny gold pedestal and shiny table top with a wild print theme using Matte Sealer, mesh stencil, one coat, dust of ages, light and dark wax, gold metallic chalk art….it was so fun and I am excited to keep trying new things. Thank you

I have a weird texture issue with gritty paints. Chalk paint can be a struggle and I love a matte finish. This matte sealer is perfect. I get the non-shine furniture without wanting to vomit if my hand touches the painted surface.

This is a winner product. I wish it had about 20% more ‘durability,’ but then it might not be as easy to apply. The final results are amazing and it lays flat whether you use a brush or roller. Very. Very. Good product!!
Okay so the clear matte sealer I brushed and rolled very easily onto the lower portion of this buffet. I felt the liquid sealer would be better to protect from backyard elements . I used antique wax on the top half. I noticed that the wax put a slight color where the sealer is clear ( both as indicated but this is my first project ever). You can hardly tell.
Simple application and created the perfect base on which to add the wax and Dust of Ages.

Love the matte sealer. I use it for all projects that I don’t wax. It shows the beauty of the furniture without making a glossy look, which can show more flaws in old pieces. LOVE IT.
Going on the 4th week now since applying the Matte finish to my test pieces. This last week my test pieces were snowed on again. Eventually the snow melted and left water marks on my test pieces. I took them inside and wiped them off with plain water and a soft cloth and the water marks came off easily and the test pieces look good again. I eventually plan to apply paint and the matte finish to my picnic tabletop, which is located outside, under a portal, but it does get the morning sunshine and some blowing rain and or snow. So far it is looking good with my test pieces which I am keeping outside on top of the old picnic table, just to see how they hold up to the outside weather. Probably do the picnic table top when warmer weather comes.
I have used Amy and Gene’s matte sealer on every project that I have painted and usually do two or three light thin coats and it comes out so smooth. Just so easy and so many compliments.
I used the Matte Sealer on the inside of the desk. It was simple and created a wonderful look to the inside.
I used AHAH Matt Sealer on these two sample boards, then finished with AHAH light and dark wax. I love using this sealer it enhances the colours underneath.
Love the Matte Sealer. It seals beautifully and durably. Dries to a clear, smooth surface that lives up to cleaning 🧽 on my bathroom surfaces! I did put a marine grade sealer in inner sink and tub with no product interaction. Ty, I’ve ordered more for bathroom cabinets.

We are using the Matte Sealer on the top of our dining table. We sanded it down to bare wood. It is perfect as it doesn't darken the wood. It's my favorite finish on chalk painted furniture as well!
I liked that the sealer goes on matte. It was way easier to apply it with a small roller. The brush was leaving steaks. It is an easy way to protect all of your hard work.
Matte sealer is my go to when sealing the tops of many furniture pieces. It’s easy to apply and gives a professional finish, but I also use it as a substitute for mod podge when doing large and small decoupage pieces. The even smooth consistency works so much better! You are going to love it!
I love how smoothly this goes on! I do a lot of chalk art for my covered deck every season. This works beautifully and saves my cheaper products from warping so I can use them another season! That’s a win for me! I’m sure if I cleaned and resealed before putting away they would last for Ben longer. Next I’ll try it on my outdoor furniture made of wood.
