Amy’s Tip: You can use Venetian Plaster on furniture too! First, paint your piece with One Step Paint to help plaster adhere. Thin plaster with water before applying to help keep it from chipping too much after it sets!

Been adding milk paint powder to plaster and applying to tile backer board panels. Also using plaster as a ground for painting and finding it quite fine. Looking forward to doing even more!

Bought for $200. My first piece of furniture to makeover. Painted inside with Italian silver. The sample board you see in the cabinet is venetian plaster over a dark brown chalk paint. Then venetian brown and noir milk paint. I will have to reorder more venetian brown to have enough to finish this piece. I am so excited to complete it. Personally I love my sample board. Amys products are all top of the line. I will share when finished.

I used the ventian plaster to create wallpaper samples. This sample I used a mixture of milk paint, Ventian green, Strasbourg White and Amalfi Coast. The plaster is easy to apply and use once made to consistency required. I have never used plaster before. I need more experience of course. Part of the Amy Howard's Inner Circle group teaches you techniques of how to use the plaster/gesso in this way. Love it.

Love working with the Venetian plaster because it is silky smooth and glides on. Mixes well with the milk paints and gilding. Try it!
I made lampshades with burlap, venetian plaster and milk paint. Used wax to seal it. It turned out very nice. The lamp base was done with multiple colors and layers of Amy one coat paints and cracked patina. Wax and dust of ages to finish. I'm enjoying trying out many methods and finishes.

Great product! I should have ordered 1 more bag of plaster but I was able to pull it off by not using top coat to cover wall completely. Skip troweled the middle areas👍
