Apply a second coat for full coverage, allowing proper dry time between layers.

Stir frequently and agitate between brush dips to keep pigments evenly suspended.

Mix Southern Gentleman and Amalfi Coast (start with a 1:1 ratio)

Optional to Add:

- A small amount of Noir Pigment to darken

- A touch of Tuscany in the Summer  to green the hue

- A touch of Venetian Brown Pigment Powder to mute brightness

Mix thoroughly and record your formula. Mix enough paint for the entire piece to ensure consistency.

Apply one coat and allow it to dry.

Apply a second coat if additional depth or coverage is desired.

This finish relies on layered faux distressing, rather than aggressive sanding.

Once the blue-green layer is dry, use a sea wool sponge to softly dab additional paint in natural wear areas.

To create depth and dimension, build soft shadowing.

Mix Strasbourg White with Venetian Brown to create a light shadow tone.

Mix Sunday Suppers with Venetian Brown for deeper shadowing.

Using a sea wool sponge, softly halo edges, corners, carvings, and panel lines.

Blend gradually and allow the surface to dry fully.

Use Antiquing Glaze again if needed to soften transitions and unify layers.

For added age and realism, apply subtle fly specking.

Mix Noir pigment with alcohol until fluid but lightly saturated.

Using a soft artist brush, gently flick the mixture onto the surface, concentrating on corners and recesses.

Allow the alcohol to evaporate fully before moving forward.

Apply Light Wax as an initial protective layer and allow it to set.

Mix Furniture Tonic with a small amount of Noir pigment for one blend, and Venetian Brown with a dab of Noir for another.

Apply to high-touch areas such as edges, corners, and around hardware to mimic natural hand wear.

Use Dark Wax to deepen shadows where needed.

If additional depth is desired, mix Light Wax with Noir pigment to create a custom black wax.

Once all layers are dry, use a lint-free cloth to gently buff the surface.

Focus on high-touch areas to create a soft, aged sheen while leaving recesses more matte.
