About One Step Paint
One Step Paint is our premium, water-based chalk-style paint that transforms furniture, fabric, and everything in between. No stripping, no sanding, no priming. It dries to a soft, chalky matte finish that's perfect for vintage, distressed, layered, and Old World looks. While decorative pieces don't require sealing, we recommend adding a wax or sealer on high-use items like dining tables, chairs, and cabinets to protect against everyday wear.

I love the color but I find the paint a little thick and the smell is not only off putting but lasts a long time.
I’ve never painted anything in my life, but this is now my third piece painted in Parisien Gray. I’ve also painted a coffee table and night table. Amy Howard one step painted instilled in me the confidence to continue transforming and repurposing pieces that I now love. Thank you. Would highly recommend.
So easy to use! Perfect gray.
The Parisian Gray is part of this piece. I love the color and I do believe will be on my laundry room cabinets very soon. Great coverage as always. Best paint.
Love using this paint on the many projects I have done in my house.
I’ve used other top brand chalk paints and I like Amy’s the best. It’s easy to use, doesn’t require a wax seal, distresses easily and smells great. The variety of colors is vast! And her brushes are much less expensive than the other brands. The variety of waxes and finishes are awesome as well!
