About One Step Paint
One Step Paint is our premium, water-based chalk-style paint that transforms furniture, fabric, and everything in between. No stripping, no sanding, no priming. It dries to a soft, chalky matte finish that's perfect for vintage, distressed, layered, and Old World looks. While decorative pieces don't require sealing, we recommend adding a wax or sealer on high-use items like dining tables, chairs, and cabinets to protect against everyday wear.

We are on a tight budget like many people. I needed a sofa table for a large blank space in my living room and my MIL gave me an old one of theirs. It was very sturdy but so outdated. A relative of mine told me about Amy Howard one step paint and how well it worked for her table. I'm so happy she did. This paint is amazing! I sanded down the sofa table due to a lot of nicks and splintering in some of the surfaces and used two coats. It looks wonderful! It dries so smooth and doesn't leave behind a chemical smell. Now I just need to get some new drawer knobs and my "new" sofa table is complete!
my first piece a masterpiece. We inherited Ethan Allen furniture from many decades ago. this paint transformed the piece that is relevant today. Waiting to get some new hardware for it and it will fit into my farmhouse/industrial theme. will be a customer for life.
