Posted before and after pics of a bedroom set that I had professionally refinished years ago. I wanted a glazed honey color (it ended up being orange!), but I lived with it.
This paint is fantastic! I did two coats of Bauhaus Buff, a coat of Cracked Patina, and another coat of Bauhaus. Easy to use! Love it!

I love this paint. I painted these brown book cases with Amy Howard's one step paint and my office is now gorgeous!

Such a beautiful color! I love the coverage and durability as well. One Step paints never disappoint
Amy J.
I love the One Step paint for many of my furniture projects. It provides great coverage, a lovely finish, and amazing durability. The smell is amazing, which is a lovely bonus!
Tonya P.
This paint is great and very full coverage! I love that I didn’t have to do more than a couple coats over the very dark stained wood this piece used to be. No bleed-through from the stain at all. Durable but still easily distress-able. I used the sealing wax as well and it’s so smooth it’s almost got a soft touch to it. This was my first time using Amy Howard products & I am really impressed!
Bonnie Y.
Easy to use!! Will purchase again for my next project!

I used the Bauhaus Buff, One Step Paint, to scumble our chimney, which was once on the outside of our home, but now part of our new dining room. Love it. Was so easy to work with, and was so happy to be able to refer to the YouTube video using the scumbling technique.

It is such a pretty white I have painted several pieces in my home!! Love it!!
Shelly P.
Absolutely beautiful soft, white color. Great coverage.

This is my go to paint I use as my base coat for all of my pieces I want to do a French country antique finish on. I am a fine artist so I use it to finish my own frames, as well as for just about anything I want that French country look for.
Patricia P.
I used bauhaus buff one step paint to refinish this old silver plate tray. Then added the Parisian script mesh stencil to decorate it. It is the best paint for so many things! I love it and I have never used stencils that were so easy to apply!
Thanks Amy!!! Your products are the best by far….

Bauhaus Buff is one of my go-to neutral whites in Amy Howard’s fabulous line of one step paints.
Kimberly P.
Love the versatility of Venetian plaster!. I created a custom Christmas tree skirt utilizing Amy’s ‘old world wallpaper technique.

I use this color on several things I love it!!

I use Bauhouse Buff on all my craft projects. Raw wood and MDF is very porous and this One Step Paint gives the surface a perfect beginning.
The photo is of a little chest painted with Bouhouse Buff. It is a finished project with Mind Your Own Beeswax as a final step. A little organization station with some craft supplies.
Cecilia H.
This was an ugly table I bought for $30. I used Bahaus Buff for the body and I stripped the top and used AH's Better with Age to bring up the wood natural aged tones.
Chelsea M.
Bauhaus Buff is the perfect white for any project. One Step has a smooth texture for easy application. Highly recommend
Shelley H.
Bauhaus Buff is my go to white. I have used it on so many different pieces of furniture and now on some built in cabinets we are currently working on. It looks great raw and is a nice bright yet soft white. It looks great with clear wax and fabulous with dark wax. I've bought so many quarts of this color I can't even say how many. Amy Howard products are my go to chalk paint and supplies, I've been happy with each color selection. It arrives safely in a very sturdy box and always comes within a few days.

I previously painted my laundry room cabinets in Bauhaus Buff OS paint as a test before trying on my kitchen cabinets to check how it would wear. Loved how they turned out and are wearing so well! On to the kitchen now. The pic is the upper cabinets in Bauhaus Buff. Im working on the lower ones are now which I’m painting in Midnight Dreams. Think it will be a great combination!

Nancy M.
Using Bauhaus Buff one step paint, I transformed my tired old stained fireplace into an updated beautiful focal point.
Shelley H.
This paint is easy to work with and usually covers in two coats. The finish is silky smooth with just a bit of fine sanding. I have used this paint several times and it is my paint and color of choice when working on furniture.
cindy f.
Using the white on a darker peice of furniture you need more coats of paint but over all I liked it.
Thomas H.
At first, I didn't think it was going to turn out. We persevered, waxed it, and I vintaged it. It is awesome!! And, this paint is on forever!!
Shawn H.
Wonderful white color. I used to to give the cushion on my front porch a facelift before spring! AMAZING results!

This makes the second time to paint my loveseat and sofa with Amy Howard's chalk paint. This color refreshes them so.

Tressa M.
By far the easiest paint I’ve ever worked with! Love it!!! I won’t use any other chalk paint. Mixed a little gray paint ( Amy Howard) with mind your own beeswax!
Deborah S.
I love everything about this paint. Great coverage, easy to work with and it smells incredible.

I'm so happy I found Amy Howard Home. I used her marbling process to paint over my dated fake wood looking laminate countertops. The paint is excellent and after a couple of days I have found it to be completely durable for light use and wiping down of the countertops. It feels great to the touch. I'd like to comment on her videos too - they are absolutely outstanding and I was confident headed into my project rather than terrified that I'd mess up my kitchen.
antoinette o.
I truly love this paint, dries to a silky smooth finish, and the perfect white.
Tough hard, durable! I really can't say enough. Will definitely be my go to paint.

I am currently working with the Bauhaus Buff as a wash over an old oak table. I love the color and the fragrance is AMAZING!
My daughter just borrowed the can to paint an old bookcase. This is such a beautiful white~I love it.
Stephanie S.
It’s a perfect base for Glazing.

When you don’t know what color to paint it. This is the one! Perfect in every sense of the word. Love it.
Susan G.
Goes on beautifully, smells fantastic, provides great coverage and is a terrific color. Should be in your paint collection as a staple.
Lynda S.
Looks great on my dollhouses. Beautiful coverage
carolyn S.
Beautiful color. Use on a lot of my crafts.
LINNIE S.
I used Bauhouse Buff to prime these little project pieces. They needed to be painted white because when I paint these pieces with craft paint, the brown wood and black edges are extremely difficult to cover. Now, I'm ready for the fun stuff! Note: there's only one coat of Bauhouse Buff on most of these pieces. Interested in the projects? Foundations Decor. You'll want to prime yours with any One Step white too.
Deborah S.
You can't go wrong with this color! I used it on a cabinet for a little girl's room for storage. Great color! It goes with anything.
Michelle M.
We used for painting cabinets in the kitchen!
Kitty A.
Bauhaus Buff is a soft white with a bit of a pink cast to the color - Wanted to paint kitchen cabinets and ultimately went with Ballet White. Picture shows Bauhaus Buff towards the top middle of the cabinet door. Tested Bauhaus Buff, Winter Snow and Ballet White.
Deborah S.
All the paint is great. I haven't used it yet, but I will.
Carly K.
Used with a stencil over a dark gray and it turned out great!
Cecilia H.
I used Amy Howard paint to do this chair. It worked amazingly well. I just needed 2 coats even the white paint over a dark color. When it was all finished the surface was a little rough but I just went lightly over with a fine grade sand paper and it got very smooth. I finished it with a very light coat of wax and it gave it an even smoother feel. I am loving this paint, the quality is great!
Kim O.
Love the ease of this paint. I was using other paints before and there were a lot more steps. Love anything that saves me time and still looks great!
Amanda R.
Before and after. No sanding and three coats of Bauhaus Buff one step paint. So easy to apply and smells amazing! Love the way it turned out! Thank you for sharing your talents
Patricia P.
Best paint ever! These cabinets we’re discolored and 42 years old! Hard to believe...

I can’t stop painting old furniture with Bauhaus Buff. I’ve rejuvenated dining room chairs, an old desk and hutch, a wooden giraffe my Dad made for me at least 60 years ago (it has a platform, horns and ears for our clothes, etc. to keep our room tidy!), frames, apothecary jars, anything that needed some light.
I reassured my husband that he is safe from my wielding brush!
Rita E.
Not finished yet, painting my kitchen cabinets but ran out of paint, my fault I only ordered one can the first time. Reordered, but only received one can of paint instead of the three I ordered. Waiting on issue to be rectified.
Sara A.
It is very easy to be used. It is my first time to paint a piece of furniture. It was in dark brown. No need to sand. I just cleaned it.
Lisa B.
Love the color of this paint. I mixed it with black in spots to create this effect, as well as added glaze. The smell of this paint is amazing. It's been over a week and I can still smell it when it wall in
Thelma W.
Have always liked Bauhaus Buff, my favorite white. Keep it on hand! Always the white I recommend to clients when they “want it white.”
angela h.
I bought this to paint my kitchen cabinets. They came out amazing! I was beyond thrilled with the finished product. My old out-dated cabinets are now a beautiful white and look brand new!
Would buy this paint in a heartbeat for another project!
Sherry R.
Love the color although I was still looking for an off white. Took three coats to cover.
donna w.
OMG this paint is great I've ordered in the past same color and now with the new one step it smells like vanilla its great! Bauhaus buff is a great color to blend with anything or just alone. Goes on smoothly just love it.
Gale A.
I totally underestimated how great the one step paint is. I took one of my not so great ideas (had a dresser painted black) and turned it back to a mid-century dresser. Like Amy reminds us the one step paint is exactly that, you can paint over almost anything, but it does not take one coat of white paint to go over a black dresser, it took four. The results are beautiful I couldn't be more pleased. I can't wait to re-do my kitchen table and chairs. I am going to paint the chairs with the one step paint, and I am going to use the gel stain for the table top. I can tell you if you are a novice as I am, Amy's products are the best and the easiest to work with. I will send a picture of the dresser as soon as I put on the finishing touches, I am waiting for the hardware to get here.
Judith W.

Thelma W.
Always choose Bauhaus Buff when a client wants white. Delighted to make this color recommendation.
Bernadette D.
Used the clean slate and the angled brush to paint the legs and apron of my kitchen table. It did take 3 coats but was easy to apply. I finished it off with the wax. Looks great and it’s a beautiful smooth finish.
Mary Margaret B.
I just wanted to let you know how much I love this paint. Many years ago I attempted to paint my cabinets and promised myself I would NEVER do that again! Now I have a whole new outlook because of this paint. The coverage was amazing, it smelled divine, the finish was so smooth, and no sanding! Thank you Amy Howard at Home!

I had never used chalk paint before it was a fun experience and I am pleased with the results
Dyann L.
I used this very crisp white paint on a tired old cherry wood dresser and sleigh bed. It now looks fresh and updated. Love this paint! I've already ordered more for bathroom cabinets!

Qt. Bauhaus Buff
One of my favorite colors. Keep a quart on hand knowing I’ll be needing it.
Katrina c.
So in love!
My husband and I started redoing our kitchen. I have cabinets that have been in this house for about as long as the house has been standing, but deff needed something done with them. I used Bauhaus Buff and the dark wax over the paint. They are so pretty and we didnt have to spend thousand on new cabinets that wouldn't of come close to being as good of quality as the ones I have. I also redid an old dresser for my gbabies toys. My next step is my bathroom, just not sure what color or the steps needed for a bathroom.
