I used One Step Bauhaus Buff as my primer coat on this old wooden frame. I then applied cracked gesso and a custom milk paint of pompeii gray and noir. The final step was antiquing with your fantastic Antiquing Glaze with a cotton free cloth and OOOO steel wool followed by a light unbuffed coat of Mind Your Own Beeswax.

Love this one step paint! Just know that I painted over pine stained wood and it took 4 coats to make the surface even. I was torn with which color white to go with and happy I chose this, it has more of a black hue compared to the other options (which had yellow undertones). I had to order 5 quarts to complete this large queen size canopy bed. No sanding or prepping, plus the finish is so soft but very durable! I used an edging tool and grey chalk paint then sanded to distress the bed and the entire look turned out beautiful! Plus the smell of the paint is so nice, it doesn’t smell like typical water based wall paint, it had a bit of a clean sweet smell! I am so thrilled that I chose this paint for this project, I don’t believe any other paint would compare or give me the confidence that the finish will last a lifetime like the one step paint!
Used one step to lighten my fireplace after watching Amy on you tube. I used Lux Luquer on the mantel. Love the results

A nice white. Not too bright but bright enough.
Painted chair for my sunroom. Only took 2 coats of paint. Fabric is soft and has a great feel to it. Very easy to do and I just love the chair.
This is my go to color for a white. It is muted compared to the ballet white. It matches anything! Love it!

It was not a one step paint, I ended up getting better coverage from a paint from Lowe's, and it was cheaper too.
Decided to try different furniture paint. AH didn't disappoint. Great texture and finish.
First time trying the One Step Paint. I used it as the base for the milk paint which was also a first. This frame and picture was $2 at a ReStore (cheap plastic). I plan to tone down the border a little bit and add a little gold leaf for highlights. The paint is really smooth and has great coverage. Thanks for a great product!

Posted before and after pics of a bedroom set that I had professionally refinished years ago. I wanted a glazed honey color (it ended up being orange!), but I lived with it. This paint is fantastic! I did two coats of Bauhaus Buff, a coat of Cracked Patina, and another coat of Bauhaus. Easy to use! Love it!

This paint is great and very full coverage! I love that I didn’t have to do more than a couple coats over the very dark stained wood this piece used to be. No bleed-through from the stain at all. Durable but still easily distress-able. I used the sealing wax as well and it’s so smooth it’s almost got a soft touch to it. This was my first time using Amy Howard products & I am really impressed!

I used the Bauhaus Buff, One Step Paint, to scumble our chimney, which was once on the outside of our home, but now part of our new dining room. Love it. Was so easy to work with, and was so happy to be able to refer to the YouTube video using the scumbling technique.

This is my go to paint I use as my base coat for all of my pieces I want to do a French country antique finish on. I am a fine artist so I use it to finish my own frames, as well as for just about anything I want that French country look for.
I used bauhaus buff one step paint to refinish this old silver plate tray. Then added the Parisian script mesh stencil to decorate it. It is the best paint for so many things! I love it and I have never used stencils that were so easy to apply! Thanks Amy!!! Your products are the best by far….

I use Bauhouse Buff on all my craft projects. Raw wood and MDF is very porous and this One Step Paint gives the surface a perfect beginning. The photo is of a little chest painted with Bouhouse Buff. It is a finished project with Mind Your Own Beeswax as a final step. A little organization station with some craft supplies.
